I am partnering with an award winning law firm that's seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Malpractice Attorney to join their reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical malpractice law. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, provide exceptional legal counsel, and contribute to the success of clients. Candidates should demonstrate excellent research, negotiation, and legal drafting skills within a collaborative law office environment.
Duties
Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and litigation.
Conduct thorough legal research.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
Negotiate settlements effectively with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Advise clients on legal rights and options related to personal injury claims and other practice areas like family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, and tribal law & regulations.
Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management and compliance with legal procedures.
Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting personal injury cases as well as other relevant practice areas.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions while maintaining professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience practicing medical malpractice law, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Experience in arbitrations and trials is a plus, but not required.
