Central Texas Recruiting (CTR) is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead automation projects in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves PLC, DCS, HMI/SCADA programming, industrial networking, system design, field troubleshooting, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Design, detail, and implement automation solutions

Program PLCs, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians

Troubleshoot field devices and automation systems

Manage project execution, scheduling, and budgets

Ensure system quality and compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science

10+ years Controls Engineering experience

PLC, DCS, HMI/SCADA expertise

Industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus)

Field troubleshooting and leadership experience

Local to Albuquerque or ties to area
