A Finance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cost control, audits, and financial analysis to support effective decision-making and long-term organizational growth. The Finance Manager ensures timely preparation of financial statements, manages general ledger activities, and maintains compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, and internal financial policies.

The position requires monitoring cash flows, optimizing working capital, and ensuring proper fund allocation across departments. Responsibilities include reviewing monthly MIS reports, analyzing variances, and providing actionable insights to management. The Finance Manager coordinates with internal departments, external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to compliance standards.

Key duties include evaluating financial risks, identifying improvement areas, and recommending cost-efficient strategies. The Finance Manager manages accounts payable/receivable, payroll oversight, vendor reconciliation, and procurement-related financial controls. The role involves implementing strong internal controls, automating financial processes where possible, and ensuring robust documentation and audit readiness.
