IT Vulnerability Engineer / IT Analyst

We are looking for an IT Vulnerability Engineer / IT Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

Identify, assess, and remediate system vulnerabilities across enterprise environments.

Collaborate with InfoSec and Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Utilize GitLab and JIRA for vulnerability tracking, remediation workflows, and reporting.

Perform vulnerability scans, analyze results, and recommend corrective actions.

Support incident response and risk mitigation strategies.

Document processes and maintain accurate records of security assessments and remediation activities. Qualifications

Proven experience in IT vulnerability management and analysis.

Strong background in Cybersecurity and Information Security principles.

Hands-on experience with GitLab and JIRA for issue tracking and workflow management.

Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
