Part-Time Floating Pharmacist – Rural Community Pharmacy (No Nights/Weekends)

Location: Sumner & Strawberry Point, IA

Schedule: Flexible No nights No weekends

Hours: 8–24 hours per week (guaranteed)

Pay: $60–$70 per hour

We are seeking a Part-Time Floating Pharmacist to support our rural community pharmacies in Sumner and Strawberry Point. This role offers the opportunity to practice patient-focused pharmacy with time to build relationships, strong technician support, and the ability to fully use your clinical skills—without the burnout of traditional retail settings.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy care

Float primarily between Sumner and Strawberry Point locations

Perform medication counseling and clinical decision-making

Utilize clinical skills including:

Point-of-care testing

Immunization review and administration

Work collaboratively with experienced pharmacy technicians

Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications

Active Iowa Pharmacist license in good standing

Immunization certified (or willing to obtain)

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Comfortable working independently in a rural community setting

Part-time
