Job Description

Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A local flatbed drivers in New Albany, OH. Drivers will be locally delivering forklifts, batteries, tow motors and their parts on flatbed trailers. Compensation

Hourly pay rate: $30 - $32

Average hours weekly: 40-50

Overtime pay after 40 hours

Bonuses:

Referral bonus: $5,000

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

Home Time: Home daily

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: Starting around 7am

Route: Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of New Albany, OH

Level of Touch: Loading & unloading freight, must secure freight

Includes strapping, blocking, and chaining

Newer model trucks

Automatic transmission

Governed speed: 68 mph

ELD equipped using Samsara

Outward facing camera

Covered landoll trailer

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have CDL A license

Must have 1 year of flatbed driving experience

Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment

No felony in the past 7 years

No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years

Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations

Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen

Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of New Albany, OH.
