Position Summary

Vertiv is seeking a Materials and Manufacturing Planning Analyst to provide insight into materials and manufacturing performance and drive measurable improvements in customer on-time delivery.

Performance Monitoring: Track delivery KPIs (On-Time Delivery rates, service levels) using real-time data.

Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive trend and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Customer Service to align on underlying root causes and actions plans.

Data Aggregation: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and business performance.

Communication: Create summaries and presentations on performance, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders.

Your expertise will help shape Vertiv’s materials planning framework and support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve global operation’s goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

Strong experience in data modeling, visualization, and storytelling.

Solid understanding of relational databases, data integration, and ETL processes.

Familiarity with advanced analytics or automation preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain analytics is preferred

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.

Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Physical & Environmental Demands

The role is primarily based in an office environment but may requiring site visits and interaction with production teams.

Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.

The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.

Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.

Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.

Travel Requirements

Up to 5%
