JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer / QA Engineer to join our growing team at DTC Infotech Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual, automation, and API testing, with strong exposure to Java, Selenium, and modern QA frameworks. The role involves testing complex web, mobile, and AI-driven applications while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform end-to-end manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

* Analyze business and technical requirements to create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

* Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

* Implement and maintain automation frameworks using TestNG, Maven, Page Object Model (POM), and BDD (Cucumber).

* Conduct API testing using Postman and Rest Assured for both frontend and backend services.

* Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and compatibility testing.

* Perform database testing using SQL and validate data storage and retrieval.

* Validate AI/ML workflows including model behaviour, predictions, performance, and data accuracy (where applicable).

* Log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps and Jira.

* Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

* Prepare and share test execution reports and quality metrics with stakeholders.

* Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automation suites with Azure DevOps.

* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.

* Mentor junior QA members and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

> TECHNICAL SKILLS:

* Automation Testing: Selenium WebDriver with Java

* Frameworks: TestNG, Maven, POM, BDD (Cucumber), Hybrid Frameworks

* Manual Testing: Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory, Ad-hoc

* API Testing: Postman, Rest Assured

* Defect Tracking & Test Management: Azure DevOps, Jira

* Version Control: Git, GitHub

* Database: SQL (basic to intermediate)

* CI/CD Exposure: Azure DevOps Pipelines

* Platforms: Web, Mobile (Android), API-based systems.

> EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION :

* 5–2 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)

* Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field

> NICE TO HAVE:

* Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI testing concepts

* Experience testing real-time data, camera-based systems, or analytics platforms

* Knowledge of mobile application testing (Android)
