Description:

Akkodis is seeking a Database Administrator for a Contract with a client in Gahanna, OH. You will support largescale transitions to Microsoft Teams Calling while configuring routing policies and resolving complex L3 voice issues.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $ 45 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Database Administrator job responsibilities include:

Configure and manage Microsoft Teams Phone System, including calling policies, call queues, auto attendants, and number assignments.

Perform endtoend telephony migrations from Cisco Call Manager to Teams, including user cutovers, PSTN transitions, and number porting.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SBCs (AudioCodes/Ribbon/Oracle) for Direct Routing and call flow accuracy.

Reconfigure or decommission Cisco voice gateways, SIP trunks, and routing tables postmigration while ensuring E911 compliance.

Provide L2/L3 support for call routing issues, call quality problems, Teams policy conflicts, and device registration failures.

Create and maintain detailed SOPs, migration runbooks, rollback plans, and user documentation for smooth operational continuity. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8-10 years of experience in enterprise voice engineering, including at least 3+ years managing large Cisco Call Manager environments.

Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco Unified Communications, Microsoft Teams Calling, SBC technologies (AudioCodes/Oracle), and E911 configurations as required by the client.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $45.00 per hour
