5+ years of experience in content acquisition, licensing, or distribution
Proven experience working with an OTT platform, TV network, film distribution company, or major production house
Demonstrated track record of closing complex content licensing deals (exclusive, non-exclusive, MG, revenue share, hybrid)
Hands-on experience in end-to-end content acquisition (scouting, valuation, negotiation, contracting, renewal)
Deep, verifiable expertise in at least two regional film industries (Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Marathi)
Ability to negotiate digital streaming rights (territory, duration, exclusivity, windows, holdbacks)
Experience managing acquisition budgets and conducting content valuation & ROI analysis
Fluency in Hindi and English, plus fluency in at least one target dialect
Ability to ensure rights clarity, dialect authenticity, cultural fit, and technical quality (HD minimum)
Willingness to travel extensively for regional markets, festivals, and industry events
MBA preferred but not mandatory
