Position: Full-Time Corporate Associate

A growing national law firm is seeking Corporate Associates to join its Corporate Practice Group in Atlanta and Denver. This is an excellent opportunity for mid-level associates to work on a broad range of sophisticated corporate and transactional matters while gaining meaningful client exposure in a collaborative, high-growth environment.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years of corporate transactional experience and a strong foundation across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities, and general corporate matters. Attorneys in this role work closely with clients ranging from emerging companies to publicly traded corporations, providing practical, business-oriented legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
Support mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
Advise on publicly and privately traded securities matters
Assist with corporate formation, maintenance, and governance issues
Work on corporate finance, licensing, and venture capital financing matters
Draft and review transactional documents and related corporate materials
Collaborate with partners and team members across practice areas
Deliver thoughtful, results-oriented counsel tailored to client business needs
Qualifications
• JD from an accredited law school
• 2–6 years of relevant corporate transactional experience
• Exposure to M&A, capital markets (public finance), private equity, securities, or corporate finance matters
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced practice environment
Practice Overview
The Corporate Practice advises a diverse client base from entrepreneurial and emerging growth companies to nationally recognized, publicly traded corporations on complex business transactions and governance matters. Attorneys benefit from hands-on experience and a client-focused approach grounded in deep business understanding.
Compensation & Benefits
Expected salary range: $170,000 – $230,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Bonus potential up to $106,000 based on performance and experience
