CNC Machine operator

Description

NOW HIRING CNC Machinist in West Jefferson, Oh.

Starting Pay: $20.00/ HR

Shift: 2nd Shift

Duties include:

Operation of all functions on control panels

Understanding of machine codes

Understanding of X and Z Coordinate system

Automatic operation of any programs including necessary input

Navigate the required displays

Call up program and start/restart program as needed

Verify state of machine, active functions and controls before starting program

Load/unload machine and inspect all product. (medium, heavy lifting required)

Change and adjust tooling as needed.

This includes identifying tool, axis, and direction for correct adjustment.

Change chuck jaws and set work piece coordinate position (G54 or G55)
