Role Overview
The Product Engineer will support new product development, design improvements, manufacturability initiatives, and technical problem-solving across the full product lifecycle. You will collaborate with R&D, operations, manufacturing, and quality teams to design prototypes, validate concepts, and ensure product robustness. This role requires hands-on engineering capability, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support new product development activities from concept through commercialization.
Develop prototypes and perform feasibility testing of materials and designs.
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure smooth production handoffs.
Maintain and manage engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
Support testing, validation, and regulatory compliance processes.
Troubleshoot product issues and implement corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for design, cost, and process improvements.
Provide cross-functional engineering support to internal teams and customer-facing groups.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in product design, R&D, or manufacturing engineering—preferably in medical devices.
Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
Experience working within regulated design environments (ISO 13485, FDA, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related engineering field.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
