Our client who has been one of the most widely recognized engineering firms in the Midwest for well over 50 years is experiencing tremendous growth and hoping to expand their already well-seasoned staff of over 10 professional engineers. With an average tenure of over 15 years, profit-sharing, and limited travel, this group has both the stability and experience to weather any storm. Their most pressing need is for an Electrical Design Engineer with electrical building system design experience.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer
- Perform electrical system calculations and select appropriate equipment.
- Develop and review electrical layouts, project drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360.
-Conduct construction cost estimation, administration, site visits, and coordination with other disciplines.
-Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (engineers, designers, drafters) from project initiation to completion.
Requirements of the Electrical Design Engineer
-A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, PE preferred
-At least 5 years’ experience designing building electrical systems for new construction and facility upgrades
-Revit experience beneficial, other software experience acceptable
