BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated DevOps SRE for an opportunity in Columbus, OH!

Position Title: DevOps SRE

Location: Columbus, OH

Anticipated Start Date: 03/02/2025

Expected Duration: 10 months (potential extension)

Job Type: Fulltime 40hr/week

Pay Range: $48.14/hr.

Requirements:

Must-have skills:

The must-have skills for this role include AWS (Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, EKS, etc.) and Terraform; observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and CloudWatch; experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Jenkins, and Spinnaker; and proficiency in Python.

Eight or more years of experience are required for each must-have skill.

Nice-to-have skills include a proven track record in automation, operational tooling, and event-driven workflows; an in-depth understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architectures; and experience with AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.

Job Description:

* DevOps SRE Experience and responsibilities using following skills set

* AWS (Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, EKS etc) & terraform.

* Observability tools: Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch.

* Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker).

* Proven track record in automation, operational tooling, and event-driven workflows.

* In-depth understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architectures

* Experience with AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot

* Proficiency in Python
