Desktop Support Technician

Position Overview
A Desktop Support Technician is needed to support a large scale technology refresh project in a client facing environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with device deployments, and maintaining accurate asset records. The position is fully on site and requires direct interaction with end users in a walk up support setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands on support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic network configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through in person, phone based, or remote support.
Install, remove, and configure devices and applications as part of deployment and refresh activities.
Deliver professional, customer focused service and confidently address user concerns.
Collaborate with end users, technical teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests.
Prioritize tasks effectively and escalate issues when appropriate.
Maintain accurate asset records within the organization’s tracking system.
Support ongoing project tasks and adapt to new assignments as needed.Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Approximately 2 years of experience in IT support, deployment, or a related technical role preferred.
Technical certifications are a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users.
Solid time management skills and the ability to stay focused in a fast paced environment.
Familiarity with device installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and refresh processes.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in team settings.Key Skills

This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, OH.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
