Elementary/Special Education Intervention Teacher: Non-Public Schools

CIU 10, a premiere educational service agency in Central Pennsylvania, is seeking an elementary education teacher for a part time position for academic intervention services in non public schools for the counties we serve, Centre, Clearfield and Clinton.

Position Purpose

Under the supervision of the Non-Public School Principal and Special Education Director, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing approved interventions; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

Qualifications Profile

PA State Certification as an Elementary Teacher (K-6 preferred)

Education

Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
