Join Our Team as a Senior Tooling Engineer!

We are a prominent manufacturer of deep-drawn and heavy-gauge stamping products, catering to the heavy-duty truck, off-road construction, marine, and aerospace industries.

If you are an experienced Tooling Engineer looking to make a significant impact through innovative tooling design and process enhancements, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of tooling and fixtures for deep-drawing and heavy-gauge stamping processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timing targets.

Develop innovative tooling concepts and enhance existing manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

Contribute to APQP activities, including PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.

Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean events to optimize tooling performance and minimize waste.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of relevant experience in tooling, metal stamping, machining, or sheet-metal manufacturing.

Preferred Experience:

Background in deep-draw or metal stamping.

Expertise in tooling and fixture design.

Machining experience and knowledge of welding processes (spot, projection, MIG).

Experience with automation, robotics, and vision systems.

Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality systems.

Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, or SolidWorks is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.

Understanding of CAD/CAE principles.

Highly organized, self-directed, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
