Software Developer with Security Clearance

Software Developer Reston, VA Overview Our client is seeking a Software Developer to support a 200 FTE technical development program focused on the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management.

You'll join a collaborative team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers building and deploying mission-critical solutions.

Responsibilities Develop Java and/or Python applications leveraging LLM API calls Apply Scrum/Agile methodologies to manage workload and deliver incremental value Build and maintain applications in AWS Design and implement RESTful APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and new features Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Bachelor's degree and 6-11 years of relevant experience Hands-on development in Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, Ruby, or similar OOP languages Experience defining system architectures and designing new features Track record of delivering solutions to customer requirements Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Rundeck, or similar tools Desired Qualifications Exposure to foundation AI models (e.g., GPT) and prompt engineering Experience with AI libraries such as LangChain or others Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts Familiarity with design patterns and microservices architecture Experience with integration testing frameworks Documented open-source contributions, technical certifications, or ongoing education
