Join our team as an Order Management Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in meeting the needs of our customers at Red River. You will manage the complete order process, ensuring accurate order placement, efficient logistics, and timely delivery of goods and services. This position acts as an essential link between sales, operations, and finance, and is integral to fulfilling Red River's commitment to outstanding customer service. You will also have the opportunity to drive ongoing improvements within the department and with our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all post-sale administrative functions for customers and vendor purchase orders, including contract reviews, sales order creation, purchase order placements, and order tracking until completion.
Promptly process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) while ensuring clear communication with customers and vendors.
Provide detailed updates to Sales teams and Sales Operations regarding the status of open orders.
Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure a seamless process for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, seeking ways to enhance our processes.
Work in partnership with internal logistics teams to manage customer shipments and handle aged inventory disposition.
Identify and leverage opportunities to maximize Red River's purchasing power.
Maintain internal documentation in compliance with company and government policies.
Adhere to ISO 9001 standards and Supply Chain Risk Management procedures.
Proactively seek ways to improve supply chain processes for increased efficiency.
Assist in the procurement of Red River assets.
Fulfill other business duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
Associate degree or relevant experience.
At least 2 years of experience in order management, project management, procurement, or a related role.
Experience collaborating with Finance departments (A/P and A/R).
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5 years or more in order management, project management, procurement, or a similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in identifying business process issues.
Knowledge of commercial and federal business interactions.

Essential Elements: This position is primarily remote and requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods, as well as consistent communication with coworkers using Red River approved tools.
