Network Support Specialist with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Support Specialist role to support a mission-critical federal program out of Springfield, VA.

***This role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret w/SCI Eligibility*** Responsibilities of the Network Support Specialist: · Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices · Handle Tier 2 issues and perform troubleshooting · Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies · Perform packet captures, analyze firewall logs, and resolve network issues using diagnostic tools · Manage and secure LAN/WAN environments Qualifications of the Network Support Specialist: · 1+ years of experience in network administration/operations or related field · Hands on experience with LAN/WAN · Experience working with electronic security devices (Intrusion Detection, IDS, Access Control, CCTV, etc.) · Tier 2 troubleshooting/maintenance experience · Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Compensation of the Network Support Specialist: · Salary: Between $80,000 - $105,000 annually based on years of experience · Comprehensive Benefits: Full Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401k, PTO (Paid Time Off), Paid Holidays, Sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 1/30/2026.
