Job Title: Full time Developer Programmer
Salary: $100,000 plus superannuation
Tasks:
• Analysing the user and business requirements and evaluating specifications for solving
business problems
• Assessing and identifying the technology limitations, inefficiencies in the current systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods
• Researching, consulting, analyzing, and evaluating system program needs
• Diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language
• Developing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software solutions based on
technical and functional requirements.
• Developing and maintaining program code aligned with system requirements, design
specifications, and technical standards, ensuring compliance with accredited quality
benchmarks
• Delivering Programming Code to Specifications
• Creating, updating, and managing technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures to support system functionality and user needs
• Evaluating and maintaining program application support tools and develop procedures and processes for their use.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software functionality, performance, and security issues,
including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Providing ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to software systems, including intranet portals, document management tools, and business automation process
• Ongoing enhancements/ process improvement of intranet, document management system and office automation systems.
• Interpreting specifications, technical designs and flow charts..
Skills and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#.
• Exposure with ETL tools like ADF / Data bricks/ DBT
• Basic understanding of big data technologies such as Spark
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.
• Solid understanding of database systems and SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake/Redshift.
• Exposure to reporting tools like Tableau/Power BI
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment
• Basic understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
