Lead Cloud Engineer

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer.

We need someone to assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

Architect and implement cloud solutions in Azure, AWS, and GCP

Establish public cloud best practices

Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, CloudFormation

Create scripts using Python and PowerShell

Optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization

Support Microsoft 365 and Entra privileged access administration

Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018, NIST, FedRamp, GDPR

Monitor incidents and participate in on-call rotations

Create architecture documentation and training materials

Mentor engineers and drive cloud adoption

Essentials:

7+ years Microsoft Azure experience

Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)

Experience with AWS and Google Cloud

Infrastructure as Code expertise

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra

Experience with compliance frameworks

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Desired:

AWS or GCP certifications

Experience mentoring teams
