RSU5 DURHAM-FREEPORT-POWNAL Camp Seaside Counselors 2025-2026 Community Programs RSU5 Community Programs is seeking energetic, playful, kid-centric individuals to be counselors at Camp Seaside, our traditional summer day camp based in Freeport. Counselors help plan daily activities for the campers and directly engage the children to create for them a fun and memorable summer experience. Camp Seaside emphasizes active outdoor play and exploration, and each week includes field trips, hikes, beach trips, and activities that promote nature-based learning. Camp Seaside is comprised of the Puffins (grades K-2) and the Seals (grades 3-5), each with approximately 30 weekly campers. The first day of our seven-week camp is Monday, June 29, and the last day is Friday, August 14. Employment begins with at least two days of required hands-on training and preparation prior to the start of camp. Candidate must be at least 17 years of age and have experience in providing care for you children, If you'd like to be part of children's happy summer time memories, we'd like to speak with you.
