DuPage Credit Union has an immediate, full-time opening for an Azure and Active Directory Specialist.

Position Overview

The Azure and Active Directory Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Credit Union's Active Directory, Azure, and Windows environments. This position provides hands-on technical support, helps ensure system stability and security, and contributes to both daily operations and long-term technology initiatives.

This role primarily supports a Monday-Friday business hour schedule and includes participation in on-call, extended hours, and weekend support as required, including a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Support and administer Active Directory and Azure environments, including user provisioning and de-provisioning, security groups, group policies, and file/share permissions

Provide team-member-focused help desk support by reviewing service requests, resolving issues in a timely manner, and communicating clear status updates

Maintain and support Windows operating systems and servers, including OS deployments, monthly patching, security updates, and out-of-band fixes to ensure system stability and security

Support system integrations and security, including SAML, SSO, certificate services, DNS, DHCP, and third-party application connectivity

Participate in on-call support and technology initiatives, including after-hours support, system monitoring, documentation, and assigned technology projects Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional IT technical training

2-3 years of experience in a help desk or similar IT support environment (preferred)

2-3 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure, and Group Policy administration

2-3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365

Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities PowerShell scripting experience and Microsoft certifications relevant to the role are preferred.

Work Environment

Fast-paced Technology Department with frequent interruptions and competing priorities

Requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and sound decision-making

May occasionally require lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as activities such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching
