The Multifamily Leasing Manager is responsible for leading the marketing and leasing functions of assigned residential communities within Drucker + Falk's portfolio. This role drives occupancy, resident satisfaction, brand awareness, and team development. The Leasing Manager works closely with Property Managers, Regional Property Managers, and Marketing Coordinators to implement strategies that maximize leasing success, promote strong resident relations, and support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing + Leasing Strategy
• Identify unique selling points and develop messaging for leasing and marketing efforts.
• Implement and update strategic marketing plans in coordination with leadership.
• Track advertising effectiveness and execute marketing strategy recommendations as outlined by the Marketing Department.
• Utilize the DF Marketing Playbook weekly and monthly checklists for completing activities per the recommended schedule.
• Utilize the Leasing Guidelines for Lead Follow Up and Community Social Media Guidelines workflows to support leasing success and positive brand sentiment.
• Monitor market conditions and prepare rent studies as needed for new or existing communities.
• Utilize technology and leasing tools to optimize performance and streamline workflows.
Team Oversight + Development
• Lead leasing team efforts to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Monitor and analyze leasing associate conversion metrics and deliver actionable strategies and resources to support their achievement of DF Success Metrics.
• Train and mentor leasing associates; set weekly/monthly leasing goals and track performance.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities in coordination with Property and Regional Managers.
Resident Relations + Community Engagement
• Ensure leasing and office staff deliver exceptional customer service and community tours.
• Plan, coordinate, and host resident events and outreach programs.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction through consistent communication and support.
Leasing Operations + Compliance
• Consistently meets or exceeds DF success metrics related to Knock benchmarks.
• Monitor Net Leases and lease conversions after declines and cancellations.
• Walk Ready Units to ensure all turn work is complete and the product meets readiness standards.
• Market available apartments and conduct tours for prospective residents.
• Review applications, verify references, and prepare lease documentation in compliance with company policies and Fair Housing standards.
• Prepare resident correspondence including renewals, notices, and updates.
• Collect and deposit rents and fees according to company procedures.
• Represent the property in court proceedings as needed.
• Manage and resolve maintenance requests and resident concerns promptly.
• Support the Property Manager and supervise designated employees in their absence.

Education + Experience
Required:
• Minimum 5 years in Property Management or leasing
• Experience managing a leasing team or function
Preferred:
• 4-year college degree or 2-year associate degree
• ARM, CAM, RAM, or HCCP designation
Technical + Administrative Skills
• Familiarity with property management software, CRM platforms, and leasing analytics tools
• Proficient in MS Office, social media platforms, and online marketing portals
• Strong understanding of residential leasing compliance, Fair Housing, and local regulations
