Responsibilities

• Work on performance enhancement and cost reduction of unprecedented "solid fuel" to build the most economical energy storage solution.

• Assist in developing Cache's next-generation high-temperature storage material.

• Perform hands-on ceramics/cement-based experiments and carry out thermal/mechanical

characterization of material.

• Carry out accelerated, long-term testing of material under practical application conditions.

• Work in a small, driven, collaborative team with a large amount of autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

An innovative mindset with an ability to independently plan and perform hands-on, lab-based materials experiments. The ability to move fast and the knack for getting things done are necessary. A master's degree or higher in Civil, Materials, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred but not necessary. Experience with cement/ceramics microstructure-property relationship is necessary.
