ROLE SUMMARY: The registered nurse will provide professional healthcare services for outpatients at LLCHC in accordance with the registered nurse's scope of practice.
The registered nurse provides age and specialty appropriate healthcare at the level of the registered nurse's education and experience.
Services rendered by the registered nurse will be in coordination with a collaborating physician.
The registered nurse will support the Mission of LLCHC to provide the highest quality holistic care to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepares and maintains records to meet quality control standards.
* Develops and maintains effective relations with patients, physicians, LLCHC staff, and the public.
* Prepares patients and assists MAT providers as needed during patient appointments.
* Provides patient education to patients in the MAT program H&P.
* Tracks all lab tests and results for MAT providers.
Reports critical lab results to providers in a timely manner.
* Retrieves OARRS reports for providers before each patient appointment.
* Keeps spreadsheet of active prescriptions by provider to ensure that providers are meeting state requirements regarding patient caseload.
* Tracks patient appointments and schedules appointments for MAT patients as needed.
* Documents patient information and communicates with providers in NextGen system.
* Supports MAT Program Coordinator with program issues and process adherence/risk management.
* Assist with prior authorizations for MAT treatment.
* Performs program prescreen on patients.
* Calls to check on patients after initiation of treatment and reports significant issues to prescriber.
