About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a mid-level Water Resources Engineer to support drainage, stormwater, and hydrologic modeling projects. This role offers growth into technical leadership while supporting transportation and municipal clients across Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Design drainage and stormwater management systems

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

Prepare plans, reports, specifications, and cost estimates

Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and internal teams

Mentor junior engineers and support construction services

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

4–10 years of Water Resources engineering experience

PE in Virginia or ability to obtain within 6 months

Experience with HEC-RAS, HY-8, TR-55/TR-20, HydroCAD
