Linux System / Network Administrator
Location: Washington, DC (On-Site Required)

Role Summary
Immediate need for a Linux System / Network Administrator. This role requires expertise in Linux administration, advanced networking, containerized platforms, and operational compliance within controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based systems in secure environments.
Provide technical leadership for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot advanced routing and transport technologies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
Administer and support Kubernetes platforms in mission-critical environment.s
Ensure systems meet required operational, compliance, and accreditation standards, including STIG implementation.
Address cross-domain and cross-technology integration challenges across systems, networks, and security.
Serve as a senior technical point of contact for operational issues and delivery outcomes.
Support and guide junior engineers as required to ensure successful execution.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience in Linux system administration
Strong background in network administration and support
Demonstrated expertise with routers, switches, and firewalls
Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
Experience administering Kubernetes in secure or regulated environments
Familiarity with system hardening, compliance frameworks, and operational accreditation processes such as STIGs
One or more relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CSfC, HAIPE, INE, SD-WAN)
Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance
Bachelors degree
