QC Engineer

Overview:

This role is primarily office-based and focuses on close coordination with the team to manage active jobs and resolve project issues efficiently. The position requires strong communication skills, technical expertise in power distribution construction, and the ability to ensure accurate cost estimation and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain close communication with team members regarding active jobs and project issues.

- Address project challenges and coordinate with field engineers for resolution.

- Ensure accurate cost estimation and validate estimates created by others.

- Apply NESC code knowledge in day-to-day operations.

- Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.

- Provide training and guidance focused on power distribution processes.

- Review engineering directives for feasibility and compliance.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of distribution construction and related engineering principles.

- Experience in QC and engineering review processes.

- Ability to interpret directives and assess project feasibility.

- Collaborative mindset with a focus on training and mentoring team members.
