Job Opportunity: Project Architect (Retail & Fit-Out)

We are looking for a dynamic, highly creative Project Architect to lead our fit-out projects from concept to completion. This isn't just a desk job—it’s a multifaceted role that requires a blend of design flair, technical precision, and the "people skills" to navigate diverse stakeholders.

The Role at a Glance

As a Project Architect, you will be the primary bridge between the vision and the reality. You’ll be responsible for creating innovative designs while ensuring every detail is compliant with lessor requirements and franchisee expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Iteration: Create, develop, and revise architectural designs and fit-out plans. You must be able to pivot quickly when site conditions or client needs change.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for:

Lessors: Navigating mall/building guidelines and securing technical approvals.

Franchisees: Translating their business needs into functional, aesthetic spaces.

Colleagues: Collaborating with internal teams to ensure brand consistency.

On-Site Leadership: Direct management of manpower and subcontractors. You are responsible for ensuring that the work on the ground matches the quality on the page.

Technical Oversight: Read, interpret, and implement complex fit-out plans, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) elements align with the architectural design.

Project Lifecycle: Monitor timelines, manage site inspections, and ensure the project is delivered on schedule and within budget.

What We’re Looking For:

Requirement Description

Experience Proven track record in fit-out projects (Retail, F&B, or Office).

Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar BIM software.

Communication Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to negotiate with lessors and explain technical concepts to non-designers.

Leadership Experience managing subcontractors and on-site labor effectively.

Adaptability A "problem-solver" mindset—able to revise designs on the fly to meet site constraints.
