Seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to work in Burlington
Must have:
-Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT
-Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
-2 yrs. of Radiology imaging experience, cross sectional imaging and/or computer assisted imaging.
Primary shift: 12hr evening/night shift.
Hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am
Annual salary range: $73,000 to $116,000
Bonus description: $10,000.00-$15,000.00
Job duties/responsibilities description:
-Performing complex MRI exams on varying strength magnets using powerful magnetic fields combined with radiofrequency waves.
-Must be able to adapt to changes in technology, new imaging techniques, safe and effective imaging practices for patients with and without medical implants.
-Implants include pacemakers, nerve stimulation devices & electronic pumps that can cause severe injury and or death within the MRI environment.
-Requires independent judgement, comprehensive knowledge of MRI physics, biological effects to human tissue, medical implants, and the ability to enforce MRI safety.
-Possess inherent compassion for patients with claustrophobia & provide mechanisms to assist the patient in overcoming their discomfort.
-Operates under the general supervision of the Radiologist & MRI supervisor.
