Security Guard

Role Description

We are looking for a Security Guard for a part- to full-time, on-site position in or near Cheshire County, NH. In this role, you will maintain a safe and secure environment by:

Patrolling properties

Monitoring surveillance equipment

Inspecting buildings and access points

Enforcing security protocols

Responding to safety and security incidents

Assisting staff and visitors as needed

Strong communication skills and situational awareness are essential. This is a hands-off position, meaning you'll manage situations without directly involving yourself in them.

Qualifications

Age: Must be 18 years or older.

Guard Card: Ability to obtain a guard card is required; preference given to those with a New Hampshire guard card.

Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Experience: Previous experience in physical security or private security is not necessary.

Certification: Valid security certification is preferred; prior security experience is advantageous.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively engage with staff and visitors.

Vigilance: Ability to remain alert, enforce security measures, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

Emergency Protocol: Understanding of safety and emergency response procedures.

Physical Fitness: High level of physical fitness; must be able to stand or patrol for extended periods.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security-related fields is a plus.
