Cloud Architect (652320)

Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions to support enterprise reporting and decision-making. Gather and document business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and architect data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines from diverse sources using cloud-native orchestration tools. Automate workflows for data governance, quality validation, lineage tracking, and performance monitoring. Build and optimize semantic data models applying role-based security and surrogate key strategies, consolidating reporting assets into unified models. Design automation frameworks and intelligent data agents to generate and optimize semantic models from requirements, identify opportunities for consolidation, and deliver key performance metrics to leadership. Lead system performance tuning, continuous integration and delivery, and automated testing initiatives. Implement frameworks for schema validation, schema drift detection, record-level auditing, and incident tracking. Leverage functional knowledge of the Microsoft sales process and associated domains to ensure data align with business needs and effectively support sales cycle analytics, forecasting, and partner ecosystem reporting.

Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30% as required.

The experience and education requirements are:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, or related field, PLUS three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Python, PySpark, T-SQL, SSIS, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Power Automate. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
