Specialty Backup: Hospitalist, Anesthesiology, Cardiology

24-hr Support Services: - Radiology (no MRI), CT, XR, Lab, Ortho, Pathology & OR.

Duties: - Responds to house codes. - Monitors/Supervises paramedics/ambulance by radio

EMR: Cerner

Other Info: - Not a Fast track in ED - Hospitalist handles admissions mostly, responds and runs the codes; Anesthesia available for backup during the day - L&D has a clinic - Cardiologist does official EKG Interpretations

Requirements:

Active MI License

BC in EM (or FP with 2+ yrs ER experience)

DEA

BLS

Current ATLS/PALS (ATLS only for EM-boarded & may not be current)

Clean record

Local candidate
