Vertiv is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Warehouse Operational Excellence Sr. Manager to lead the transformation of our warehouse and distribution operations. In this role, youll drive performance improvement through process optimization, standardization, and deployment of best?in?class practices across multiple sites. Responsibilities
Operational Excellence Strategy & Deployment
Design and implement a global Warehouse Operational Excellence strategy.
Ensure consistent adoption of standardized tools, metrics, and practices across all warehouse and distribution centers.
Collaborate with site leaders to tailor strategies to local operations while maintaining global alignment.
Process Mapping & Standardization
Conduct end?to?end process mapping for inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping.
Identify inefficiencies and harmonize processes across sites.
Document optimized workflows to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency.
Best Practices Playbook
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Operational Excellence Playbook (SOPs, KPIs, audit tools, CI frameworks).
Lead training and rollout across all sites to ensure full understanding and adoption.
Continuously refine the playbook based on feedback and evolving business needs.
Continuous Improvement & Lean Initiatives
Coach site teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Lead cross?functional projects to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
Use data?driven tools (e.g., root cause analysis, KPI reviews) to prioritize and measure improvements.
Training, Coaching & Change Management
Deliver workshops and training for site leaders and warehouse teams.
Guide teams through change management to ensure sustainability of improvements.
Act as a change champion to foster a culture of operational excellence.
Multi?Site Collaboration & Support
Serve as the operational excellence liaison across sites, sharing insights and coordinating initiatives.
Conduct regular site visits to audit implementation, identify gaps, and share best practices.
Establish feedback loops to continuously evolve the operational excellence framework.
What You Bring
Education
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience
5 or more years in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations.
2 or more years in a continuous improvement or operational excellence role.
Proven experience in process mapping, playbook development, and multi?site strategy deployment.
Skills
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred).
Strong data analysis and project management capabilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross?functional teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a multi?site warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiarity with warehouse automation, WMS, and ERP systems.
Experience implementing operational playbooks across diverse operations.
Travel Requirements
Up to 50% travel to warehouse and distribution sites.
