Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Structural Technician III to join our dynamic aerospace team. In this role, you will apply your advanced skills to assemble, modify, and finish major assembly structures, ensuring precision and compliance with rigorous industry standards. You will work on critical aerospace structures, contributing to projects that demand the highest levels of accuracy, safety, and quality. This is a hands-on, safety-sensitive position with opportunities to grow in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations, including filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming.

Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures; verify dimensions with precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Modify incomplete and complete assemblies, incorporating engineering changes into the structure.

Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications to complete installations while maintaining specifications like edge distance and pitch.

Install various fasteners, including rivets and hi-locks.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a secure and organized work environment.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and 5 or more years of relevant structural assembly experience (related experience may substitute for required education).

Must own tools in good working order.

Progressive experience in structure assembly, minor part fitting, repair, and refinishing (e.g., airframe corrosion removal).

Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

Ability to complete installations per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch.

Proficient in installing fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Aerospace and Defense, US Department of Defense, NASA, or US Military.

Ability to travel as needed.

Current or ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
