Registered Nurse – CVOR

Location: Columbus, OH

Contract Type: Travel

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 4 10 Days (rotating; 2 8 + 2 12 within 06:30–23:00)

Pay: $2,988/week

Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room at a Level I Trauma facility, assisting with complex cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures. Flexibility with rotating shifts, call, and weekend coverage is required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures

Scrub and/or circulate for CVOR cases including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, AAA, EVAR/TEVAR, TAVR, and related procedures

Assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care and monitoring

Maintain sterile technique and adhere to OR safety protocols

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, perfusionists, and the interdisciplinary team

Accurately document care using EPIC

Participate in shared call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled

Qualifications

Active RN license (Ohio or compact) in hand at time of submission

Minimum 3 years overall OR experience

Minimum 2 years cardiac and vascular experience

At least 1 year CVOR experience

Level I Trauma experience required

Certifications: BLS (ACLS/NIHSS preferred per unit)

EPIC charting experience required

Strong skills in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and complex cardiovascular procedures

Ability to be flexible with rotating shifts and call requirements
