Job Summary

Our Corporate Information Technology (CIT) Group is currently seeking an IT Security Analyst IV in our Security Governance group. This position is located in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities

Perform periodic review of existing Battelle cyber security policy - compare with comparable existing industry and government policies; compare with Battelle's security roadmap and goals; perform gap analysis and develop policies to close those gaps.

Work closely with project managers, cyber team, and all of Information Technology organization to ensure compliance, facilitate remediation, and facilitate continuous improvement.

Oversee certification and accreditation process of project information systems

Perform risk assessments on information system security controls

Maintain close familiarity of industry practices and current trends

Act as a liaison and subject matter expert on IT managed projects

Develop and facilitate cyber security awareness training

Other security related duties as assigned Key Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems and 8 years of experience or equivalent combination of experience.

Prior IT security experience required.

Must be a US person Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience in at least 3 of the following areas (areas for which you are an expert and for which you can develop policy and evaluate proposed or implemented solutions):

Compliance with FISMA and NIST standards strongly preferred

NIST 800-53 Revision 5

DFARS

NIST 800-171 CUI

CMMC

Access control

IDS/IPS

Mobile device management

Wireless access

Firewall

Cyber response to external inquiries

Information privacy

HIPAA

Identity management

Risk management

Windows and Linux

Experience participating in or conducting audits of IT controls

Expertise in written technical communications.

Master's degree preferred.
