As a Financial Controller - Vice President within Corporate Sector Controllers, you will lead and manage the financial controls supporting several Corporate Functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Job responsibilities: * Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards * Manage the reconciliation and substantiation processes for the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic business and financial initiatives and provide insights into financial performance * Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies * Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the financial control function * Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field * Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or related roles, with a strong background in the banking or financial services industry * Experience with reconciliation and substantiation of the general ledger * Proven track record of managing and leading high-performing teams * In-depth knowledge of financial control processes, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels * Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial reporting systems Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: * MBA or CPA preferred
