Skilled Assemblers Wanted â Freeport Area

FurstStaffing is hiring Skilled Assemblers to help build large, high-quality units in a hands-on manufacturing environment. If you like working with tools, blueprints, and seeing a finished product you helped created, then this role is for you.

Pay: $18.50/hr

Schedule:

Mondayâ Friday, 7:00amâ 3:30pm

Overtime: up to 4:30pm + possible Saturdays (announced weekly)

This Temp position will last until the end of March.

What Youâ ll Do:

Assemble large and heavy sub-assemblies using hand and power tools

Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions

Install components like compressors, fans, plumbing, wiring, sensors, and tubing

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks

Prep finished units for shipping (packing, labeling, palletizing)

Operate equipment such as stud welders, wing benders, torque wrenches, and lifts

Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards every day

What Weâ re Looking For:

High school diploma (preferred)

0â 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience (helpful, not required)

1+ year work history at prior 1-2 employers

Strong attention to detail and ability to work on your feet

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Safety- and quality-focused mindset
