About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Production Planner for a capital equipment manufacturing environment. This role owns and executes manufacturing production plans using MRP, coordinating materials, schedules, and engineering changes to ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer delivery requirements

Run and manage daily MRP reports; take corrective action as needed

Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely material availability

Monitor part progress and adjust schedules to prevent delays

Attend weekly production and change meetings

Communicate priorities and schedule changes across departments

Issue pick lists and support shop floor execution

Create and maintain BOMs as required

Implement ECNs and coordinate changes for in-process and future work

Close production orders and capture accurate costs

Review open orders, backorders, and forecasts to mitigate risk

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

️ 5+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing

Strong MRP and BOM experience

Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
