About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to support drainage, stormwater, and hydraulic design projects. This role offers growth into project leadership within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design drainage and stormwater systems

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

Prepare plans, reports, specifications, and cost estimates

Coordinate with clients, agencies, and project teams

Support construction phase services

Mentor junior engineers

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET)

️ 4–10 years of water resources engineering experience

PE license in VA or ability to obtain within 6 months

Experience with HEC-RAS, TR-55/TR-20, HydroCAD, OpenRoads
