Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Environmental Project Manager (LSP):
#1. Must have LSP license (licensed site professional).
#2. Must have OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
#3. Must have familiarity with and demonstrate expertise in applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements for the Environmental Project Manager (LSP):
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in science or engineering (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or a related field) from an accredited four-year college or university. A minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent is required. It’s a plus to have a Master’s degree.
Active Licensed Site Professional (LSP) licensure (required).
Familiarity with and demonstrated expertise in applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations (required).
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher (required).
Licensure as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist is strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance (required).
