MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Microelectronics Laboratory is a 200mm wafer facility with commercial-class equipment serving national security defense and U.S. economic interests. The facility processes full-flows for a range of integrated circuit technologies including 90 nm fully depleted silicon-on-insulator CMOS, science grade CCD imagers, superconductor digital and quantum, photonics, MEMs, and microfluidics.
Position Description
Candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining facilities support equipment within a Class 10 Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Provide continuous monitoring of all facilities equipment utilizing Andover Building Management System and Data Tracking/Trending software.
Document Facility Equipment preventive and corrective maintenance in MES system
Perform inspections and maintain hazardous waste compliance
Inspect facilities equipment daily and respond to any discrepancies found.
Perform safety inspections and annual chemical inventory
Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for facilities equipment.
Troubleshoot facilities equipment malfunctions and develop plan to quickly recover from discrepancies.
Participate in troubleshooting efforts with facilities trades and Engineering when required.
Generate work orders and coordinate resources (internal and external) required to repair and maintain equipment.
Coordinate trades activities in conjunction with Lincoln Laboratory facilities services department to maintain the building or support new equipment installations which may include carpentry, electrical, HVAC and rigging.
Provide technical support for facilities infrastructure projects
Interface with Cleanroom Operations Management to ensure facilities maintenance does not impact production.
Maintain all spare parts and consumables required to minimize downtime.
Focus on best practices and continuous improvement to improve efficiency of the overall facility, reducing the operating cost while increasing productivity.
Must be available to take off hours phone calls and to respond as needed for facilities emergencies.
May be required to occasionally work off shift hours for maintenance, repairs or upgrades.

Reverse osmosis and ultra- pure water system
Process Cooling water
Air compressors and dryers
Vacuum pumps
Water pumps
HVAC equipment
Electrical equipment
Effluent Scrubbers
Acid Waste Treatment
Hazardous gas delivery and monitoring systems
Rotary UPS
Liquid Oxygen and Nitrogen to gas delivery systems
Qualifications
10+ years facilities maintenance/facilities management experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Candidate must be self-motivated and customer oriented
Clean Room experience preferred
Hiring Range: $87,700 - $121,000
