Logistics Operator

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operator to manage and coordinate the operational elements of air, ground, and boat shipments from our Columbus, OH office.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless transportation of goods while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end logistics process for air, ground, and ocean shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveriesManage shipment scheduling, documentation, and tracking to maintain visibility and optimize efficiencyCommunicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues and delaysEnsure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations, including customs clearance and documentation requirementsAnalyze shipping costs and recommend cost-saving measures while maintaining service qualityUtilize logistics software and tracking systems to update records and generate reports for internal stakeholdersCollaborate with suppliers and customers to optimize logistics strategies and improve overall supply chain performance Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation coordination at a logistics operator role on supplier side Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, including air, ground, and maritime logisticsProficiency in logistics management software and tracking systems, knowledge of Cargowise a HUGE plusExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with carriers and vendorsAbility to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve logistics efficiencyFamiliarity with customs regulations and compliance procedures is a plus Role can either be based in Columbus OH or Los Angeles, CA.

Role is HYBRID and ability to come to the office at least 3 days per week is required
