This is a support-focused role within a laboratory setting, ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in a scientific environment.
Key Qualifications:Associate’s Degree in a life sciences-related field required; recent Bachelor’s graduates will also be consideredAcademic lab coursework or experience preferred—must understand basic lab etiquette and proceduresStrong desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented settingTechnically adept, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn Labworks LIMS softwareMust be reliable, organized, and detail-focused Primary Responsibilities:Receive and log samples and supplies into tracking systemsPrepare and label samples according to established protocolsPerform reagent preparation and basic sample handlingMaintain cleanliness and organization of lab workspaces and glasswareSafely dispose of samples according to lab guidelinesTrack and manage sample inventory to ensure efficient workflowPerform routine QA tasks under Quality Management Systems (QMS) standardsEnter data and results accurately into LIMSCommunicate effectively with lab personnel regarding sample status, issues, and timelinesOperate LIMS to document, track, and report sample dataAssist with equipment calibration and routine verification proceduresThe contract is 6-months and most likely will not be extended, however it could open the door for jobs there in the future Why This Role?
