Lead Bartender & Event Manager

About the Role: We're seeking an experienced, driven bartender to lead operations for our mobile bar service.

About Our Business: Alco-Haul Mobile Bar is an event-based business serving approximately 55+ events annually.

Our peak season runs April through October, with occasional events during off-season months.

Events vary widely—from 2-hour corporate happy hours to full 8-hour celebrations—making flexibility and adaptability essential.

Schedule & Commitment:Part-time, event-based position with variable hoursPeak season (April-October): 8-15 events per month, averaging 5-8 hours eachWeekend availability required (Friday/Saturday/Sunday back-to-back events common)Flexibility for occasional weekday corporate eventsOff-season: Opportunities for paid administrative/management workStart date: February (training period) Compensation:Event bartending: Starting at $20/hour + gratuitiesThis is a W-2 position This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility, leadership opportunities, and growth potential rather than guaranteed full-time hours.

Event gratuities supplement hourly pay, though event tips differ significantly from high-volume bar environments.

Primary Responsibilities:Lead bartender for all eventsOccasional shopping for supplies, pick up and delivery servicesEvent supply pickup and drop off Cleaning and organization of all suppliesSetup, breakdown, and equipment managementStaff recruitment, training, and scheduling according to company standardsEnsure all services meet company standardsProtect and maintain company property and equipmentMaintain clean, organized, efficient operations at all events Growth Opportunities (Hourly Increase) - Management Advancement Includes:Client consultation and event planningLiquor ordering and inventory managementMenu creation and developmentSocial media content creationEvent quoting, contracting, and invoicingNetworking and business development (attending events to build relationships)Internal event planningOff-season business development to grow year-round revenue Required Qualifications:Previous leadership or management experienceAbility to lift 30+ lbs.
