Summary of position:

The Sr eCommerce Solution Architect is a key member of the implementation team and is responsible for overall design of the application and mapping client business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The Sr eCommerce Solution Architect works as a team member along with Application Architect, Data Architect, Technical Architect and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution for the customer.


Participate in process flow analysis and process design along with business and BRM.

Share BE architecture best practices throughout duration of the project

Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements

Complete and implement a configuration workbook

Co-team with the Technical Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements

Lead the UAT efforts

Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts

Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer

Skills/ Experience

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Cloud technologies

Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer and business requirements

Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred

Advanced experience with Salesforce platform and customization

Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools

Strong presentation and communication skills

SFDC Certifications Sales Cloud, Service Cloud

Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs

Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints

Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities

Should have participated in, and be familiar with, SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies

Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with the Salesforce ecosystem

Work Experience:

5-7 years of relevant experience in professional services, sales or customer support operations

3-6 years of Salesforce systems integration and/or implementation experience

Proven Solutions consulting experience in large enterprises
